Expansion of helpdesk module & app development

To serve Peeters NV’s customers even faster and more efficiently, we expanded the helpdesk module. We also developed a mobile app for internal employees that automates the management and monitoring of their window jacks. The result? Significant time savings and increased efficiency!

About Peeters NV

Since 1970, Peeters NV has been known for producing PVC windows and doors for professional customers. In 2016, the company began a new chapter under the name Peeters, The Window Manufacturer. This change shifted the focus to producing aluminum windows and doors. PVC operations were transferred to sister company Raamwinkel PRO.

In 2019, Peeters experienced remarkable growth, thanks to its efforts in delivering reliability and practical support. By communicating openly and transparently and being as accessible as possible, customers always know what they can expect from Peeters.

What we did - Odoo modules

Expansion of the helpdesk module

Through Peeters’ website, end customers can report a problem, along with any photos. By expanding the helpdesk module, it’s now possible to use a preliminary investigation, a kind of questionnaire sent along to the back office, ensuring that submitted tickets are automatically routed to the correct people and/or departments. We’ve also included an alarm that automatically triggers when a ticket has been open for too long. To provide the helpdesk module with relevant data, a link was established with the customer’s production and planning software.

Development of an app

We created a custom app to manage and track Peeters’ window jacks. This app benefits both internal staff and the end customer.

  • Backoffice
    • Easy management and entry of window jacks by means of barcode and/or QR codes
    • Consultation of histories of all window jacks (when installed, for which customer, etc.)
  • Drivers
    • Easily enter deliveries using QR scanning . Geolocation ensures that the location is automatically retrieved. At Peeters’ specific request, we’ve ensured that locations are displayed via a Google Maps view.

End user centric

Throughout the entire project, the end user was central. The helpdesk module was expanded to connect customers directly with the right contacts. Thanks to the app, customers can now manage their window jacks themselves via the website. This way, they can see what costs they have already incurred, where the window jack is located, and whether it can be picked up again.
