VDB Nutrition: Optimizing Production and Retail Operations
Transitioning from fragmented management to a centralized Odoo system: a technical foundation for efficient growth.
The Challenge: Managing Rapid Expansion. VDB Nutrition, primarily known for its “Proti-Balance” brand, reached a point where legacy systems could no longer support their increasing order volumes and production needs. The project focused on digitizing the entire supply chain. “Honestus”, acting as the technical developer alongside “Digimedio“, implemented the solutions required to transition the client to a unified Odoo platform.
Our Role: Automating Complex Business Processes. In this project, the “Honestus” team was responsible for the technical architecture and backend development needed to synchronize various business areas:
· Manufacturing & Inventory Control: We engineered technical solutions for real-time raw material tracking, automated manufacturing orders, and precise inventory balance.
· E-commerce Integration: We ensured a seamless data flow between the online store and the internal ERP, allowing for instantaneous order processing.
· Logistics Optimization: Our team programmed workflows that helped the client reduce manual warehouse tasks and significantly speed up shipping times.
Outcomes and Value – the implemented Odoo ecosystem enabled VDB Nutrition to reach a new level of operational maturity:
